OTN
The aim of the optical transport network (OTN) is to combine the benefits of the SDH technology with the bandwidth expandability of DWDM. OTNs will apply the operations, administrations, maintenance and provisioning (OAM&P) functionality of SDH, to DWDM optical networks. The OTN is specified in ITU-T G.709 Network Node Interface for the Optical Transport Network (OTN).
